About

Estefannie is a software engineer turned content creator and TV host. Born and raised in Mexico, Estefannie moved to the United States to attend college. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics in 2014. She worked as a software engineer and later as a software engineering lead. During this time, she began experimenting with her knowledge of code and her self-taught electrical engineering skills to create inventions like robots with anxiety, interactive art, and VR experiences. In 2016, she started creating content about her life as an engineer on Instagram and sharing videos about her inventions on her YouTube channel. Her newfound passion for sharing her engineering processes through videos and making her inventions open source led her to leave her job and pursue full-time science communication in 2019.

Since then, her time is divided between inventing, writing, filming, and producing content. She has also been a guest lecturer at universities and been invited to speak in classrooms, conferences, and hackathons. In 2023, she made her debut as a co-host of 'Revengineers' on the Discovery Channel, where she and the team use engineering to create pranks for social justice.
